ABOUT ME

Yoga is a powerful tool for transformation, recovery, and connection. My goal is to help you use the tools of yoga to bring more ease, strength, and self-awareness into your life. My expertise includes trauma-informed yoga, mobility training, sports recovery, and restful practices like Yin Yoga.

Whether you're brand new to yoga, returning after injury, or looking to deepen your personal practice, I create space for you to feel supported, seen, and empowered.

When I’m not teaching, I’m exploring movement practices, cooking, gardening, and walking with my puppy, Ethel. I also write grants and consult other yoga business owners and nonprofits. I’m based in Nashville, TN, but love to travel and connect virtually.

My Yoga Journey

I began practicing yoga in 2010 with Gillian St. Clair and quickly realized I wanted to share the life-changing power of this practice with others. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Steadfast & True Yoga School in 2017 and my 300-hour certification with Terry Coburn in 2022.

I’ve taught over 2,500 hours of classes and received Yoga Alliance Experienced Teacher (E-RYT) status in 2021. I love working with beginners, skeptics, athletes, and folks who’ve felt excluded from mainstream Western yoga spaces. My approach is rooted in inclusivity, education, and curiosity.

I often teach outside of traditional studios—in warehouses, offices, senior centers, recovery centers, hotel conference rooms, and lunchrooms. Yoga belongs everywhere, and everyone deserves access to its benefits.

My Teaching Style

My movement (asana) teaching is rooted in safety, curiosity, and accessibility. I focus on functional movements, breathwork (pranayama), meditation, and the deeper philosophical aspects of yoga and Daoist practice.

My physical classes often emphasize mobility and creating ease in the body—an essential foundation for emotional resilience and spiritual growth. I’m deeply influenced by Molly Morris and Terry Coburn the ways they teach mobility in practical, body-aware ways.

I believe yoga is a practice of connection—to your body, your community, and the world around you. I prioritize honoring the roots and lineages of these practices while making them accessible and relevant to daily life.
